I have a lovely fresh, vibrant juice recipe for you guys, PERFECT for when you are feeling a bit “blergh” in need of a vitamin pick me up, or if you just fancy a fresh fruity drink in the garden with your feet up…
This has got to be one of my favourite flavour combinations, fresh oranges, a tangy tropical vibe from the pineapple, a hint of spicy ginger, a sneaky bit of turmeric and a glug of apple cider vinegar / ACV for some Gut loving goodness, finished with a pinch of baobab powder. All the ingredients are blended to make this vibrant, immune boosting drink.
I love to use seasonal produce where possible as the flavours are just so much better when in season, I have tried this juice with blood oranges instead of normal oranges, and it gives the juice a lovely deep red-orange hue.

Step by Step instructions on how to make Orange, Pineapple & Ginger immunity Juice:
Peel the oranges, and lemon and remove as much of the white pith as you can (will make the juice bitter)
Peel the skin off the turmeric and ginger with a spoon – if you have a high speed blender I wouldn’t worry about this step, plus its more fibre!
Remove the skin from the pineapple and slice the flesh into chunks, avoiding the hard core – some blenders may not be able to cope with this bit.
Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until mixture is smooth and everything has been blended.
Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag *
Decant the mixture into a glass jug and store in the fridge
* If you don’t have a nut milk bag a fine knit nylon produce bag works really well too. If you are UK based, both Sainsbury’s and Tesco sell these.
Recipe Tips & Tricks
If you don’t have a nut milk bag a fine knit nylon produce bag also works! if you are in the UK and don’t have a nut milk bag – the nylon produce bags tescos & sainsburys have (in the vegetable aisle) work great!
I used to get put off by juicing as it seemed so much effort, and clean up afterwards. But some juicers you can buy nowadays you don’t even have to peel the fruit! I’d recommend doing some research into juicers if you want to get one. In my opinion The juice Kings are Joe Cross – His films are amazing – thats what got me into juicing after seeing how powerful healers fruits and veggies can be, and of course Jason Vale.
Juicing takes a little longer than just blitzing up a smoothie but it’s so so worth it. Fresh homemade juices beat shop bought every. damn. time.
